Intra-Asia Route Development Manager(RDM) is responsible for the sales and growth of Intra-Asia trade lane specific accounts or business with joint efforts with his/her team. This individual will be responsible for achieving sales targets that will be outlined by management, and must have the ability to coordinate and manage organizational efforts and information by creating professional and effective business proposals.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage and develop the Intra-Asia Trade Lane and be responsible to grow the volume in air and ocean as target agreed

* Responsible for creating new business through contact with prospective customers in the market

* Identify market trends and competitive rate actions and communicating those trends to the Product Group

* Share the ownership of trade lane business master plans aligned with counterparts in overseas DSV

* Prepare country specific sales & marketing materials and ensure it is available to all team members

* Support the other sales members by promoting allocated trade lane

* Maintain CRM & pipeline per company policy

* Perform other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

* 5 + years of applicable business development / sales experience

* Minimum 3 years of handling large customers for Asia trade lane

* Bachelor’s degree required

* Sales Experience with all types of contacts using diplomacy and interpersonal skills required

* Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
