[Job Description]

1) Role : be responsible of implementing in a country a lean culture in Contract Logistics operations associated with continuous improvements

2) Main Responsiblities

IMPLEMENTATION OF LEAN CULTURE IN OPERATIONS

·  Review current operations in association with local staff

·  Eliminate waste in operations and improve quality

·  Create on going improvement culture

·  Educate staff on efficiency and quality

·  Any standard reference could be promoted: 5S, 6 Sigma’s, TQS, Toyota Production System

 

KN PRODUCTION SYSTEM

·          In relation with corporate & regional KNPS team, implement the program in the defined countries and sites

·          Perform operational reviews and get involved in operations depending on priorities:

­      Businesses not performing (losses or low quality)

­      Businesses where potential improvements are obvious

­      Pro-active initiatives

­      Businesses where customer requests competences not available

·          Priorities will be jointly defined with local and regional management

·          Train operational staff

·          Ensure usage of standard tools: Productivity and Quality Management Module (PMM and QMM)

·          Propose technology improvements to create show cases
